Based in a small village in Transylvania, Europe, Ilka lives a nature-close lifestyle that deeply influences her work. Her passion for beautiful and quality fabrics ignited in childhood, leading her on a remarkable journey in textile design.

After earning her degree in textile design, Ilka honed her skills further by attending a seamstress course. This foundation allowed her to step into the world of clothing creation, where she began sewing garments that reflect her unique aesthetic. While she is known for crafting exquisite sun dresses, her recent project includes beautiful handmade quilted stockings, now available in my shop for the holiday season.

When she isn’t fulfilling orders, Ilka spends her time gardening or seeking solace in the mountains—her true home. The influence of her family is also deeply embedded in her work. Stories of her mother and aunt knitting and sewing their own clothes inspire her to honor traditional techniques while adding her modern twist. Ilka values the connection to her heritage and aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia in her designs, making them feel familiar and cherished.

When it comes to adventure, Ilka finds her favorite moments in the Alps during winter. She enjoys skiing, rock climbing, and hiking, embracing any active pursuits in nature. Gardening, cooking, and baking also fill her days, while exploring Europe offers her fresh inspiration and experiences.
